The 2014, 58th Session Commission on Status of Women is coming soon!

In a few weeks, more than 1,000 leaders from business, civil society, Government officials and the UN will gather in New York to explore global development priorities on women and girls. Every year, representatives of Member States gather at United Nations Headquarters in New York to evaluate progress on gender equality, identify challenges, set global standards and formulate concrete policies to promote gender equality and advancement of women worldwide. The purpose is to bring women into development approaches and programs.

As part of this trail, we will explore the opportunities available when maximizing grassroots potential and the role of modern technology in ending exploitation of women and children in communities.  Unfortunately, commercial sex, labour and domestic slavery of girls is a global problem that could be happening right in our neighbourhood. This is a first degree human rights violation. We recognize challenges that constantly derail successful combat of such Human right violation and in this case, we believe that the solution is to foster well informed communities.
