Obama, Clinton cover-up corruption in Haiti’s elections

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (sentinel.ht) – The Obama administration, still guided by the failed and corrupt practices of the Hillary Clinton foreign policy, is looking, as a last-ditch effort, to set up and destroy straw men in Haiti where democracy, human rights have given way to totalitarianism and corruption since that devastating 2010 earthquake.

The Obama-Clinton team is again deeply mired in electoral fraud in Haiti, this time, a massive and wide-ranging electoral fraud operation that began when it put forth more than $30 million in U.S. taxpayer money towards financing Haiti's elections. The onset of the foreign corruption began there.

Haiti did not need U.S. financial support to organize its elections. It was an indecent proposal, decried among nearly all Haitians, except for the totalitarian regime – the benefactor – whose leader, Michel Martelly, was propped up and supported by Clinton State Department in the previous election scandal in 2010.

On January 2, 2016, a Haitian presidential commission investigated and found that these elections over-funded by U.S. taxpayers has as its foundation, 13,000 tally sheets, of which 92% consist of "serious irregularities", which, by law, require their disqualification. These irregularities are widely regarded by local and international observers as part of a massive electoral fraud operation.

The Obama administration's reaction to the information of the fraud has been to cover it up by three means.

Firstly, State Department officials and diplomats have taken major steps to stop the continuation of the investigation. The presidential commission's recommendation to proceed with finding the orchestrators of the "serious irregularities" and determining whether foul play was involved, has been rejected.

Secondly, the Obama administration is blocking a recount. It was recommended that the fraudulent tallies be stricken and votes recounted, but through the State Department coordinator, Kenneth Merten, the fraudulent results are what the Obama administration said it "expected" to be maintained.

Now, thirdly, setting up and obliterating straw men arguments is the Obama administration's play in order to force through the most corrupt legislature in Haitian history, an illegitimate president, and state.
The Straw Men Attacks

For Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, constructing and attacking straw men to meet their corrupt ends is a crude and outdated tactic but by appealing to prejudices and bigotries, they hope to achieve their ends.

U.S. Ambassador Thomas A. Shannon and other officials of the State Department, including "outside" organizations such as, the Washington-based, Organization of American States (OAS) and New York-based, United Nations (UN) are already beginning to employ the Straw Man fallacy.

What is it? The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a party simply ignores another party's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position – an easily defeated position called a "straw man".

In Haiti, the Obama administration and its allies will make the argument that "democracy is important, elections are important, stability is important" and that they are committed to these ideals and is the reason why the electoral process must continue. But this is not the argument being advanced by the Haitian opposition.

The opposition's actual position is that Haitians should be allowed to elect their leaders through free, fair and inclusive elections. With 92% of the Obama-Clinton elections being fraudulent, an election did not take place. Democracy, is not being upheld. Stability is not possible. The Obama administration is ignoring this.
